Eco-Spiritual Companion

“Eco-spiritual direction is a form of spiritual companionship in reverent conversation with the living world. The first and only program of its kind … is rooted and shaped by deep ecology and the wisdom of the wild.”
In this confusing time, little makes sense except the Earth beneath our feet and the air we breathe. When all else is changing, our hearts long for home, for belonging, for love. The Wild is waiting, longing for you, too, to come into relationship. Only by falling in love with the Wild, can we find the way forward toward renewal and transformation.
As your Eco-Spiritual Companion, I will walk with you, sit with you, and listen with you, while you learn to hear the Wild speak, and experience Nature as an ever present Presence.
We will meet at the intersection of Nature and Spirituality, to journey together into your place of Belonging.
Spirituality and the Wild have been constant threads weaving through my life. I find myself more connected to the Sacred in the field, the woods, and the blackberry patch, than in a traditional religious setting. Curiosity drew me into studies with the Seminary of the Wild Earth. But the Wild knows the forgotten places inside of us. I have heard the call to dive deep into my own Soul, into my Heart’s Cave, and into the Wild, and from there to share the story, the metaphor, the dream – and to Companion those whom Life brings my way.
Besides my certification as Eco-Spiritual Director through the Center for Wild Spirituality and Stillpoint, I hold a Bachelor of Theology from Acadia Divinity College, a BA and MA in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick, and a Diploma in Ministry from Montreal School of Theology, at McGill. I am passionate about meeting Sacred Mystery in place and landscape.

I have also studied dreamwork through the Robert Moss School of Active Dreaming, and continue to expand the spiritual services I offer, in person and online. I live with my husband, Mike, on the farm where I grew up, surrounded by family, friends, and my more-than-human community. I love writing and reading, practicing yoga, creating textile art, and taking long walks with the Wild.
