Alice’s approach to card readings of any kind comes from her background as a Dream Guide. In dreamwork, many turn to their dream symbol books, and assume the meaning of the dream will be found there. True, sometimes that type of investigation will bring a deep “YES, that’s it!” feeling, but in the process, much of the value of the dream can be overlooked. So just like in her dream work, Alice views the images in the beautiful artwork of any deck of cards as dream images. Traditional meanings may play a role, but Alice’s skill is her intuitive and creative storytelling, as you dream the dream of the cards together.
In her work as a Dream Guide, Alice encourages you to “incubate dreams,” to go to sleep with a question, and then look at any dream you catch, no matter how small, as an answer to that question. Similarly, in card readings, your experience will be more powerful if you begin with a question.
